Two Promises

## For those who know their craft NoteG+ does not replace your judgement. It makes that judgement enforceable across the entire project. ## For those developing their craft NoteG+ does not decide for you. It helps you understand the options, see the consequences, and gradually form your own way of working. Both promises preserve human authorship. The real strategic question is not “How do we make this usable by everyone?” It is: how can someone still developing their craft enter NoteG+, make a first conscious decision, and gradually gain more control as their ability grows? The interface can adapt to the level of support: - Clarify with me: the Senior primarily asks questions. - Propose and explain: the Senior offers alternatives and their trade-offs. - Challenge me: the Senior actively points out problems. - Execute my direction: less explanation, more emphasis on speed. - Only check constraints: for practitioners whose professional direction is already clear. These are not modes for producing attractive results. They change how the system supports decision-making. ## A candid conclusion NoteG+ will inevitably be less immediately accessible than a platform offering instant results. That does not mean it cannot grow. It must distinguish three responsibilities: 1. Do not take aesthetic authority away from the creator. 2. Do not abandon a developing practitioner in an excessively complex system. 3. Do not try to serve people who do not want to make creative decisions at all. The challenge is not to let someone without a craft produce an attractive-looking output. It is to help experienced practitioners exercise their full judgement, help developing practitioners learn to decide, and avoid pretending that a preset can replace a profession. Higgsfield and preset platforms raise the floor by making many decisions on the user's behalf. NoteG+ must raise the floor by helping people make better decisions, while keeping the ceiling high enough that an experienced practitioner is never constrained by the system.
